Mr. Fitzpatrick’s litigation practice includes, but is not limited to, complex commercial litigation, tort litigation, business litigation, real estate litigation, divorce and child custody litigation, and commercial landlord-tenant litigation. In the area of business and transactional law, Mr. Fitzpatrick represents businesses of all sizes and types in matters pertaining to the formation, management and operation of business entities, mergers, sales and acquisitions of businesses, contracts, and intellectual property. Mr. Fitzpatrick also represents large public utilities in Maryland in cases involving negligence, property damages, and catastrophic injury. His real estate practice encompasses both residential and commercial real estate transactions, deeds and promissory notes, as well as the litigation of contract disputes, easements, and quiet title actions. Mr. Fitzpatrick’s estate planning practice includes drafting and administration of wills and trusts, as well as advance directives and powers of attorney.
