MEDIATION & ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLTION
Mr. Weaver has successfully mediated hundreds of cases involving a variety of subject areas from business disputes to complex construction matters.
FACILITATED
NEGOTIATION
Mediation is a facilitated negotiation. It is a process by which a neutral third party, the mediator, assists disputing parties in reaching a mutually satisfactory resolution. It is a non-adversarial approach to conflict resolution where the parties may communicate directly. The role of the mediator is to facilitate communication between the parties, assist them on focusing on real issues of the dispute, explore alternatives to litigation, and generate options for a settlement. Such exploration of alternatives has been a direct result of the often-voiced frustration and disappointment associated with the use of our justice system as a means of dispute resolution.
